Great Grandma Dies
Shortly after her 102nd birthday Lilian died. She was very peaceful and very content. We feel so blessed that not many hours before she died we got to talk on the phone with her. And then we sang You-are-My-Sunshine. And, with a smaller voice than usual, Mum sang along with us. We could feel her joy.
The memorial service for her was at Ivanhoe Church (Melbourne Australia). The church was full of family, friends and neighbours all celebrating her life in the wonderful community she helped create.
Mum you are our sunshine and your sunshine has not gone away.
