The Oakville Drama Series 2021
Three community theatre groups performed 7 plays a season in "The Oakville Drama Series." They performed in the 500 seat Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts.
.....Annual subscriptions were dwindling. The groups determined to make their 25th anniversary a turnaround year.
.....With a marketing communications plan from Nash & Nash Ltd, which was instrumental in getting them an Ontario Trillium grant, we were able to create a successful campaign, integrating direct mail, local radio and newspaper advertising, road banners, posters and other promotions.
THE RESULT: the series 25th anniversary played to sold out audiences, including opening nights. We helped bring their subscriptions well past the Trillium target of a 10% increase to an increase of 88%. Single ticket sales increased as well. Continuing for six years, our campaigns produced similar results, creating strong community awareness of the the Oakville Drama Series brand, along with the filled theatres.
