Stories and the Stuff of Romance
One of Mum's stories is about Alan Sumner who was possibly Australia's leading artist with stained glass. He was one of Mum's boyfriends before she got married. She described how she chose to marry Rod's Dad, Frank, because he was a great dancer and she loved dancing with him. And she loved all the attention Frank paid to her.
Alan, always a family friend when Rod grew up, created this window for Mum and Dad and gave it to them as a wedding present.
