Winter at the Beach
We were in Melbourne, Australia in June and July. That's winter in Australia. There was ice skating in a tent at St. Kilda beach. Note the rented orange skates ($27 a pair) that fit over peoples shoes. At the same time a few brave Australians were swimming in the sea while everyone else walked along the beach and the pier...or had food and drinks while they watched the scene from heated restaurant patios.
