1971 Working with the Weather
We were out at VW Canada talking about the next news magazine they had asked us to produce. They wanted to feature a hovercraft that had been made using a repurposed VW engine. We discussed best photography locations. That day it had been snowing fairly heavily. So we simply took the hovercraft out to their car park where I believe I shot it with a long lens. |

Agency: Wolf I think this is a great example of an effective layout, copy and photograph for a magazine cover. It did get people to open the magazine. And this was what our client wanted. My teachers at Carey (a private high school in Australia) always emphasized, "Get your goals clear." Liz and I have lived a lifetime with this reverberating in our minds. And it still does (: |
