Early 1970s Pharmaceutical Television Advertising
TV art direction, design and story boarding. Art directing cinematographer George Pastic at shoot. When he came to Canada one of the first large agency art directors Rod met with was George Pastic. We believe George had won many Art Director Club awards yet George spent an hour talking to Rod about his portfolio. This really helped give Rod the confidence he needed. When George moved to making movies a few years later, Rod introduced George to Larry Wolf. George shot a number of Wolf TV ads.
(Also with guidance from Wolf Rod designed the simplified refresh design of Desenex packaging keeping the traditional retro look which was well known to the Desenex customer base.) |
