Promotional merchandise: pens, desktop calendars, baseball caps, beer glasses, coffee mugs, uniforms, T-shirts, etc
Although media advertising and print were the main part of our business, in the 1980s in Canada, before fee based compensation became the norm for agencies, officially accredited ad agencies (like us) were given better prices from promotion merchandise companies than clients could get themselves. Designing and producing merchandise (like a few shown here) added to our yearly profitability.
Some of our larger clients ordered quantities in the thousands. |
