Endwaste (4 rs into a Spark of Energy) Early 1980s Minimalist Symbol (logo)
A company (and symbol) based on the Government mandated 4 rs: reuse, reduce, recover and recycle. (Later to become the 3 rs reduce, recover and recycle.) Endwaste was a partnership of private industry and the Provincial Government aimed at turning waste into energy, symbolized by the spark (of energy) created by the 4 lower case rs of the symbol. |
