1970s Targeting (LOL) Farmers - Our Popular Booth Brought Home the Message at a Large US Farm Trade Show.
When pelleted animal feed crumbles, animals can be seriously harmed. Pellets bound with lignin do not crumble.
Using a pellet gun, in our safety approved "target range" hundreds of farmers shot feed pellets bound with Ameri-Bond at the paper targets in the target range structure we helped design for Reed.

First prize was a very expensive high end shotgun.

Nash+Nash helped produce this safety "target range" to work with the original fold-up booth designed by Burton Kramer Associates. We also designed the Ameri-Bond/Reed paper targets.
The well known (to farmers) Ameri-Bond had just formed an affiliation with Reed (a major lignin producer).
Lignin is a by-product of the paper making process. Keeping both identities was one of the required objectives we were given for the designing of this booth. And the marketing materials at this event. It is an example of how corporate identity (& at that time the ID manuals) needed to have the flexibility to evolve easily.
