(1969) A Portion of a Wolf Retail Sport Store Display, Plus a Mailer for Ordering Displays
We found these items we (Wolf) produced tucked away in a file. Left: a simple 14 inch high, shelf display with brochures, that was placed in Canadian sporting equipment stores where the iconic Canadian Cooper hockey equipment was on display. At right: An envelope we produced that was mailed to stores. It had a unique device inside that "jumped up" out of the envelope opening up into a desk pencil-holder box.
The mailing described in-store display systems the store could order to display Cooper hockey equipment (pads, helmets, gloves etc).
Creatively the cleverness of all this was that the displays sport stores could order were like life sized versions of the pencil holder in the sales mailer. |

Agency Wolf:
Art Direction and Design, Rod Nash.
Creative Direction & Copy, Larry Wolf.
One of the problems with keeping large display materials is that they do not fit into a filing cabinet LOL.
Also some printed photos of things like displays at events & shows etc faded after being tucked away for more than 50 years :(
Note: Cooper was bought by Sporting Goods Company Bauer in 1990.
