Late 1980s. Our Breakthrough Interactive Media for the Royal Bank
Royal Bank helped small business owners with this interactive digital business planner. We got this job as perhaps the only group (at that time) able to produce graphics for what was then a new technology. See some "slides" from the disk (top row below).
After installing the "floppy disk" (yes floppy disk LOL), people exclaimed that they did not know their computer could display coloured images :)

The newspaper clipping of the ad for the diskette (shown here, below the 4 slide images) was from the front page of the Toronto Globe and Mail.
The ad (showing the diskette our group had created) was produced by the ad agency for the Royal Bank at that time.
We were paid well for this project and as "leaders" in this technology we hoped our ability here might allow all of us to retire early :)
BUT shortly after this all the major companies decided to put their digital marketing dollars into what was still another new technology. The web ):

Graham Cowtan worked for us for a decade.
He and Rod figured out a unique way (for that time) of creating the coloured images that worked with the specialized programming of the diskette.

The Production Company, Blackstock Media Interactive, was responsible for putting the group together.
