Blackstock Interactive Media (Late 1980s) Movie production company interactive sales tool on floppy discs (yes floppy disks). Blackstock were nominated for an Oscar for the movie Gerrie & Louise and winner of an International Emmy for documentary. We hoped our unique ability here might allow all of us in the group Blackstock put together, to retire early :) BUT not long after our first big project for RBC (see earlier in this section) all the major companies decided to put their digital marketing dollars into what was still another new technology. Graham Cowtan worked for us for a decade. He and Rod figured out a unique way (for that time) of creating the coloured images that worked with the specialized programming needed for this interactive sales tool.
