Laboratory Posters 1980s
Three posters for a Tricil company called Syntath, an environmental company specializing in treating hazardous waste from laboratories. We also produced a trade show booth featuring the large give-away posters. When the trade show was in Calgary a local firm, in a similar business, had copied our posters exactly, unique retouching and all, & displayed them in their booth. The booth was right next to the Syntath/Tricil booth LOL. Interestingly Tricil did not sue. They decided as so many people already had been given the poster by Tricil/Syntath sales people - copies were actually reminding people of Syntath. Rod found that in his experience Canadian companies are so different from many US companies faced with situations like this :) |
