Cher Shows a Good Understanding of Design & Photography (1985)
As a teenager our daughter went to Northern Secondary School in Toronto where she worked on a number of their yearbooks. By 1985 Cher had been working with us on photo shoots. She had become a good "people photographer" and designer. Like most large schools in Toronto, Northern was made up of a very diverse mix of students. Cher loved the way Benetton emphasized diversity in their fashion photos at that time. But for this photo over the back and front cover of her yearbook Cher added an extra dimension in diversity. The many diverse trends in Northern students clothing, hair styles and makeup etc. |
