1974 One of the best ways to get more work is have clients trust your professional ability to get the job done under pressure
When 25 architects, urban planners and engineers we had been working with at the large firm Peat Marwick and Partners left (amicably) to start a new firm with a specific new focus they asked us to brand their new organization so it could operate immediately across Canada with business cards etc. We did. In a week. Even though we had to navigate professional organization rules which were different in each Province. Here is the logo Rod drew by hand (ruling pens and compasses, before computers) which they immediately approved. We then produced their collateral marketing materials for the next years.
We understand IBI is currently the largest organization in their "area of business" in Canada. (Since 1974 their logo has undergone various iterations.)
Their original CEO was something of a mentor to Liz and Rod :)
Business relationships are often a two way street.
