2017 RearView DocFest Event
This event was to help commemorate Canada’s 150th Birthday at the Loft Theatre in Cobourg. The experienced Vintage Film Festival committee produced the posters from the logo artwork for both REAR VIEW and VFF that we had designed for them. The doc fest reviewed more than 150 vintage short documentaries from the National Film Board, the CBC and McNally and Robinson. Subjects covered included an animation based on an Inuit legend, a sun dance captured on film for the first time, Churchill Island (which won the NFB first Academy Award), a Buster Keaton train ride across the country, and the Klondike Gold Rush.
We still find doing pro bono work for experienced people can feel quite rewarding.
