American Motors (Canada) Silk Screened Car-Dealership Event Invitation Cover
In 1972 American Motors asked the Wolf agency to design a dealership invitation that would stand out. Something different. The invite cover has no type. Because it is silk screened the physical cover itself has stronger, brighter colours than "normal" offset or letterpress printing (unfortunately this is something you cannot show on a monitor).
This was designed to emphasize the tag line Larry Wolf had written for the 1972 new car roll out for American Motors Canada (which had recently undergone changes).
At right is the sheet Rod designed to go to dealerships along with the cover so they could imprint their own information: dealership, location and date etc. |
