1966 Working in the US with a Corporate Identity Master
In 1966 when Rod started working in the US for Wolf, one of their clients was Carborundum.
It was exciting for Rod to meet and work with Richard De Natale (Carborundum Communication Manager).
Richard’s Carborundum logo and Corporate Identity Manual had been well publicized to the design community in Australia. US Corporate ID, in the 60s, like Richard’s was what originally attracted Rod to want to work in the US.
Sooo when the first project Rod worked on in the US (shown here) was a Carborundum booklet it felt to Rod as if he was working with a master. A dream come true LOL.
